01The JSON schema is versioned. A client that cannot read v1 ignores the entire file.
02Match both model id and endpoint. Known first-party and subscription routes keep their own capabilities and sources.
03The built-in Kiso registry remains the offline floor. This snapshot never overrides user configuration.
04Router-derived output ceilings are labeled and never exposed as authoritative max output. Reserve against the request's actual max tokens.
05Fetch anonymously, outside startup, with a local cache and ETag revalidation. Failure stays silent.
06Popularity is OpenRouter token volume, not a quality ranking. Data is attributed under CC BY 4.0.
